Compare answers

Compare answers

What does this feature do?

The 'compare answers' feature allows showing on any input form page in a project that has multiple designs (calculations) the answers given in another design on the same project. This allows for example comparing inputs between your baseline and optimized designs. You can also copy entries from the other design, in case you notice something is missing for example.

How do you use this feature?

This feature can be used by clicking the green 'compare answers' in most of the queries. After clicking this you can select from which design you want to compare the answers with, e.g. baseline and improved design. The compare answers feature shows you the resource name, quantity and unit setting and any comments you have added. Besides this it also shows the transportation settings (distance + method), the service life and the localization setting.

You can also add answers from another design by clicking the green 'add to input', which copies the row of data from the compared design into the currently used design.

Is this feature available to me?

The compare answers feature is available to all Business and Expert license users.
