ArchiCAD integration

Importing is a core process of One Click LCA. It is built on a patent-pending technology for transforming models to life-cycle impact assessments. This page concerns the use of the One Click LCA® in connection with ArchiCAD. 
Make sure you have the things listed below before starting:
  1. One Click LCA user account
  2. ArchiCAD version 20,21 or 22 installed 
  3. An existing project linked to the user account with a valid One Click LCA license

How do you set up the ArchiCAD integration? (versions 20, 21 or 22)

Step 1: Choose the Schedule you want to export from the navigator on the right side.

Once you have the schedule open navigate to File > Save As, then choose Excel workbook as the file type to be exported. Make sure to uncheck the “Show Headline” checkbox from the Style navigator on the left for easier moving of data later.

Step 2: Download the One Click LCA sample Excel import form

Get the form (European, metric) from the attachments 'One-Click-LCA-Excel-Europe-v1-3' (can be found at the bottom of the page).  

Step 3: Open both the One Click LCA sample Excel and the Excel downloaded from ArchiCAD.

Copy the content from the exported Excel into One Click LCA sample Excel. Match the column headings in the excel as shown in the table below.

Step 4: Upload the Excel to One Click LCA. You can fill in any other columns if the information is available.

How do you set up the ArchiCAD integration? (Versions 18 and 19)

Make sure you have the things listed below before starting:
  • One Click LCA user account
  • ArchiCAD version 18 or 19 installed 
  • An existing project in the user account with a valid license

Where can I download it?

Download the ArchiCAD plugin installer from the attachments 'One Click LCA® plug­in for Archi­CAD 18 (v.1.0)' or 'One Click LCA® plug­in for Archi­CAD 19 (v.1.0)' (can be found at the bottom of the page)

How do I install it?

Unzip and run the installer using the default settings (note that you may need System Administrator privileges to install. Consult your IT support as required)

How to use the ArchiCAD integration? (Versions 18 and 19)

Watch the video of the One Click LCA basic functionalities and test the web interface so that you’ll know how it works before starting the import.

Step 1: Open your project in ArchiCAD

Look for the One Click LCA® plugin for ArchiCAD from the menu bar and click it.

Step 2: Proceed to select Export to One Click LCA

You will be taken to the One Click LCA cloud service to continue the process.
